MY APPROACH
Each Project begins with listening to the story, the images, and the spaces in between. Music is shaped by context, deciding when it should remain restrained and when it must step forward to lead. Every cue is measured, balancing presence and absence, so the score supports the film without overwhelming it.
ARTISTIC PHILOSOPHY
When paired with image, music exists in two modes. It can act as subtle subtext, guiding emotion while allowing silence and restraint to speak. At other times, it comes forward as a storyteller, shaping atmosphere, context, and feeling. A composer’s responsibility is to balance these roles—knowing when to recede and when to lead—choosing not more notes, but the right ones.
